We thought... what a better way to launch our company blog than do a little virtual meet and greet with the owner of Mike Howe Builders! When it comes to trusting someone with your dreams for your home, it is always nice to know that person on a more personal level. We pride ourselves on being the type of company that is looking to build long lasting relationships with our clients. We want to get to know your family and your likes and dislikes, so that we can better serve your home building or remodeling needs.
A little about my family: I have been married to my wife Emily for 13 years. In fact, we have been high school sweethearts of 20 years. We have four amazing children: Bryce, Elly, Kate and Jacob.
Why I became a builder: I have always enjoyed working with my hands and felt I could accomplish anything!
Most rewarding thing about what I do: By far the most rewarding part of what I do is the wonderful people I meet. I love to see the look on their faces throughout the building process to the final completion. I love knowing that I was a part of making their dreams and vision come true.
What has been one of your favorite projects?: My favorite project was turning an old lake house into something truly special and amazing. The house should have been tore down but the setbacks would have moved them off the lake too far. So we basically had to rebuild and transform the existing house into a dream cottage.
What makes us different: What makes me different is how I build the relationships with my customers before, during, and after a project. I love to use my creativity for their new home or to transform their existing home.
